Kathy Holmes
Kathy currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia with her partner, Jonathan, and
their two dogs, Flick and Crumbs. Her boys, with their silly antics and soulful
expressions, are a source of inspiration for many of her paintings.
Kathy seems to be a bit of a "midnight painter" - usually inspired during a free evening
and working well into the night (perhaps this is why most of her cows are under starry
skies). Her Midnight Cow series have been extremely popular additions to nurseries in
the Lower Mainland.
Kathy has been exhibiting her work since 2002 at the Mikelson Festival, Evening With the
